Hey all,
Mosrite VM fan from Chicago checking in. Just bought a Eastwood Sidejack DLX to replace a Univox VM copy I had.
Closest I ever got to a real VM was a gray finish, completely cherry '64 specimen for $4K at Guitar Works in Evanston, IL.
I said "Come on. There's no role for a Mosrite like that in a dentist/lawyer/bond trader's shitty ponytail blues band. I'll offer 2K."
That didn't work.
So I write, play and produce surf-noir stuff in a band called San Andreas Fault.

And that is all I have to say about that.

Hey Mr. H.......
Welcome to the forum! I listened to all three of your tunes on YouTube, love Encantada and Get Sleepy, and can identify with your lyrics to San Andreas Fault. Great stuff.

Welcome. It's always great to have another Chicagoland member here.
I work for Terry at GW, I don't remember a grey one. How long ago was this?

Yo "h",
That Encantada is a nice tune. I think 4k is bit high for an original '65 Ventures Model unless maybe if it is in spectacular condition. 2k is going to be too low unless it's fairly beat up. Welcome to the forum!
