New purchase! My first Mosrite.

Body is stamped 29 Sept 1965
Neck is stamped 2 Oct 1965

I have the OHSC as well.

Will post some close-ups of the V/T knobs - would like to know from experts if they are original.

To my knowledge it is all original except for the pots. Not bad.

Congrats!!! Yes!!! Those are original jewel knobs up until late late late '65..... ;) .
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

I'm mainly a guitar player myself and do not own a Mosrite bass. I do however, own a 1962 Reissue Fender P Bass in sunburst and a Ventures model Aria VMB-75 bass CAR and love 'em both.

Your bass was built around the same time as mine. The body on my bass is stamped 8/25/65 and the neck was stamped the same date as yours! You should turn the bridge cover around. The angled side is supposed to be on the top so it follows the look of the neck and pickup angle.

That's how mine looked when I first got it. . . it's since lost some more of it's paint.
