About myself.

Hi all. I'm a researcher on Standel and Harptone guitars. I'm currenty doing some work on the " prototypes" that were produced in 60/61. I live in Silver Spring Md. and collect, repair, restore, and resell guitars. I have a collection of 11 Harptone guitars. 9 of them have the Standel emblem on the headstock.Marine and building Engineering are my trades.

I collected this unusual Standel guitar about 5 years ago. It is for sale now. If interested, please PM me.

Since I have retired and will be moving to a much smaller house, I will be selling my entire Mosrite guitar collection soon. I will start to list them in early July. (probably keep just one or two)

Welcome, Sparkysparks. There have been discussions on Standel guitars (and amps too) here in the past. The search feature can hopefully help you find some answers.
