Coincidences are a factor of life and sometimes they seem incredible. Here is a good example. Today I received the Mosrite 1972 bass I bought from dubtrub and it became a double-decker day for seconds after I signed for it the postman handed me a package from Amazon which contained the book "WALK-DON'T RUN...the STORY of The Ventures"! What a great beginning for my "new" life as a Mosrite owner!
Those of you that would like to see photos of the bass, go to the Board index and down on the bottom click on Classified Section > For Sale > FS: 72 Mosrite Bass. They're dubtrub's photos so I won't repeat them but I may post one of me posing with it so that you can see how happy a '73-year-old can look.
Back to coincidences. My birth date is March 18, 1938 or 03/18/1938. The bass's serial number is B0318!
Or B(orn)0318! I may never acquire a THE VENTURES model again, but now it's a moot point. Old rock 'n' rollers never die!
Today I rec'd my '72 Mosrite bass - it was destined for me!

Welcome to the Mosrite owners club. I hope you enjoy the bass for many years to come. Hopefully it arrived in one piece. You know how our forum members are, they want to see pics of the new owner with his new guitar not some old crummy classified ad photo.
That 'Walk Don't Run' book is excellent reading and reference material.
