Nothing special that I know of. All I can say is that it was presented to me by Jiro Okabe after contributing a track to the "Mosrite Rebirth" CD. Don't all the USA's have the Dana hand wounds? I honestly don't know but I'm sure they made an effort to make me a nice one and it shows!

Re: My New '65 USA Reissue
sorry, Mel or Dub, could you please move this thread over to the "New Mosrites" forum? I reposted my first post but obviously cannot move the responses. My mistake, sorry for the inconvenience...I just wanted to share my new baby!

Re: My New '65 USA Reissue
..............................
At any rate, lefty guitars always seem to look kinda strange or 'wrong' if you like, to us righty beholders.
I also wonder what Jimi Hendrix's thoughts were for choosing a normal Strat strung [stringed?] for (his) lefty playing. Then there's Dick Dale...a left handed player playing a L/H guitar but strung right handed...I'm lost now, I think
BTW, here's an interesting thread about DD's Magnatone guitar viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3618&hilit=dick+dale%27s+guitar
Your new CAR Mosrite is shockingly beautiful though, ...even for a lefty! Congrats Elliot
LOL -I have always wondered how normal (R/H) guitars -which, by nature, happen to outnumber lefty's by far- are looked upon by lefty playersElliot Easton wrote:GattonFan wrote:Ooooo - beautiful! Only - it's wrong-handed ...

Gorgeous guitar! The finish looks miles deep. Is the vibrato arm loose or did you put it there so the case closes? BTW, are the paintings on the wall by Shag?
