hello everybody! my name is Johan. Im a 26 year old guitarplayer from Sweden. I am working as an assistant nurse at an old peoples home. I have been playing surfmusic for a couple of years. my guitars are: fender strat, fender jaguar, charvell, acoustic ibanez. the first time i saw a picture of a mosrite i instantly fell in love. i have never seen one in real life though but my heart burns with the desire of one day buying a real mosrite a´la Venturesstyle :D

Cheers from Sweden!
Johan

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you've got a nice collection of guitars. A Mosrite would be a lovely compliment to your current guitars when you eventually get one.

Welcome, Johan to this forum.

In additon to guitars collecting, I am a big classic movies fan, your name reminds me rightaway about the Sidney Lumet's movies. (Al Pacino) I also admire Ingmar Bergman who is one of the greatest directors from your country. Sorry for side tracking....

Hejssan Johan och välkommen till Mosrite Forum! :D

They actually import Mosrites to Sweden at the moment. Here is the link to the company's website: http://www.hi-tonemusic.se/ The prices seem quite high, but then again, they really don't have much competition around in Scandinavia..
This concludes my report from outer space. Now, back to studio!

Kiitos Paljon! (was that right?) :P
I did definitely checked that website out and i am thinking of ordering a guitar from there when i have saved up some money. They seem to be the only importers of Mosrites in Sweden. Are there any other websites one could check out for Mosriteguitars, it would be good if they had the prices there too. I checked out the Mosritesite but i couldnt get it to work properly. Thanks everybody for Your help!
Cheers Johan

Hi-Tone Musik is the only store that imports Mosrites in Sweden.... I think. Actually I don't know if there are any other companies who import Mosrites in Scandinavia at the moment. I'm sure that in Finland there isn't. Some years back, a music store called Levytukku in Helsinki sold the Excellent & Ramones models (of which I bought the latter then).

There are very little used Mosrites sold over here. I've seen one just once or twice on Tip Top Musik's website ( http://www.tiptop.se/ ). They are located in Stockholm. Helsinki's best vintage guitar store is Kitarapaja ( http://www.kitarapaja.com ), but there have been no Mosrites, not at least for a very long time.

To see some international prices, you might want to check out the Fillmore site in Japan: http://www.mosrite.co.jp/ ..and Ed Roman in the US: http://www.edroman.com/guitars/mosrite.htm
