Thanks for having me

Postby gtrguy53 » Wed Jul 14, 2010 4:28 pm

Hello, I'm new to the Mosrite Forum and I am glad to have found you. I live in the Atlanta area and I'm in my mid-fifties. I played guitar as a teen and than stopped playing for years. I started playing again about 16 years ago. I'm not in a band but I do enjoy playing live with others when I can. I like to play classic rock, blues, and of course "surf" music. I found the group as I researched Mosrite guitars and the sound of "surf" music such as The Ventures. I'm leaning towards a Hallmark Custom 60 and from what I've read that seems to be a popular choice.

Welcome gtrguy53, many of us (myself included) have played guitar as a teen and dropped it for many a year only to start playing again ;) Once it's in the blood...
You're on a good road to Hallmark. Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the forum.

Glad to see you finally got through that security CAPTCHA for registering. I know it's a bear but it sure has stopped 99% of the spammers registering here. At least for the time being.

welcome to the forum..... :) ....I'm like you, played in bands in the 60's, then left it for years, and picked it up again for my own enjoyment. I like playing to the records and CD's, and with my son when he comes up from North Carolina......I've had my eye on a Hallmark 60 since coming to the forum....and almost ordered one in Feb, but put on the back burner for now...
I have a Strat, and other things have a way of being more needy than another guitar for now.
Glad you found us..............
