Okay, okay, don't panic! I have two Mosrite Celebrity-III's and can only afford to keep one. I am torn however on which one to keep.
One is a red with the trapese tailpiece and serial number K0426, it has all of the internal bracing I've been going ga-ga over. It has Gibson pickups and knobs. The rest is original. I haven't plugged it in yet as I've been going through it, cleaning, etc and haven't restrung it yet. I have taken about 50 photographs though! I'm guessing this one will have sustain to last a week. I'm pretty certain this one is a 1966 guitar.
The other is my trusty Sunburst model with Moseley half-trem. It is serial number K0772. It is 100% original. I think this one is 1966-1967.
I am really torn over which one to keep and that will take me days to decide. I thought I'd pop a thread here in case someone has just been Jonesing for a Celebrity and wants a good one.
Pics are available upon request, if there is any interest. If not, then one will end up on eBay before weeks end.
