Every now and then my friend the internet surprises me with something great. This is one such time - pics of Semie circa '74-75 preachin', sandin' at Roberto-Venn, and tourin' with the Semie Moseley Band (plus a little '60s Maphis pickin' for good measure). Enjoy!

notice how much taller semie is than the mic holder at the dais he is standing at. he was forced to hold it in his hand.

I have heard that Semie was 6 feet 5, or 6 feet 6 inches....tall dude....with hands as big as hams, which makes you wonder why he loved those skinny little necks so much!! But he could play those necks, and he loved them.

I don't see why I couldn't adjust to a Mosrite neck now that I know Semie was a pretty big guy. I just have to buy a 60s Mosrite now (Although that could still be a while off)
