simply put i love the look of mosrite guitars but have a univox budget. in fact i only just picked up my first hi flier yesterday and it is missing a few parts...i found this place searching for parts and info.

thanks for the welcoming...ok so on a side note is it Hi Flier or Hi Flyer? i've seen both just as many times but i'll defer to those who have owned them for more than a day...
even if i'll never actually own a Mosrite i still love looking at them and reading all i can about them so i think i'm in the right place.

Welcome to the Forum. I owned a Univox many years ago, in the early 70's. It was a good little guitar - got it from a pawn shop for about $75 or $100 ... Now the toys cost a little more ...

again thanks to everyone for the warm welcoming. my Hi Flyer is a natural finish phase 3. it's missing a few things and the 2 things i'm having the most trouble with are the bridge and tremolo. i did find a bridge on ebay today that should work so i'm hoping that it doesn't go for too much and i may just have to settle for a replacement jazzmaster trem. i asked eastwood about buying one of their Hi Flyer trems but they doesn't keep them in stock unfortunately. the other big thing that it's missing is the pickguard but i found one on ebay and snagged it.
i paid $233 for it and i think i can get it running for around $100 so i don't think i'm doing too bad, at least not yet.
