Greetings all, I'm 47 and have played guitar on and off (mostly off, until recently)
since @ 1975.
Life has gotten in the way of music for a long time, but in the last 2 years I've finally begun playing regularly again. I have a few nice instruments, but would really like an original Ventures model. Love the sound, the look and the history of these unique instruments.
I oversee production for HOB Atlantic City and get to spend a lot of time around (and occasionally get to play) some amazing vintage and historic instruments, but the Mosrite is the guitar I keep coming back to.
With some luck and maybe some help from the folks here, I'll be able to find one.
Wish me luck!
Mosrite Wannabe......for now.

Welcome on board 34crewboat...
it may not be an easy task finding your Mosrite but I'm sure you'll find it; as long as there's a Mosrite will, there's a Mosrite way. Browsing the Forum is a good way to start your orientation, good luck.

Re: Mosrite Wannabe......for now.
keep your fingers crossed for a government sponsored "cash for fenders" program where they buy back your crappy korean made fender for much more than it is worth and you can apply that towards a vintage mosrite. then when you can't make the payments you can get a bailout with tarp funds.
uh, welcome to the forum.
