Hi all

Postby buttpace » Wed Aug 19, 2009 4:40 pm

thought I would join up and say thanks. I was looking for a new guitar and based on what I read here I got Bob at Hallmark to make me a special guitar. I will post pics soon, but it's a stripped down version of their custom. One humbucker, one knob and a locked down trem. Bob did a great job and turned it around quickly. It looks great and sounds better. Thanks for the info.

Welcome to the Forum. Did you design your guitar sort of like the last Johnny Ramone Model from the 90's?
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

Great to have ya! Welcome.
Isn't it great Bob Shade offers Custom builds in the Mosrite tradition, close to home and without any 'foreign obstacles' involved in dealing. I'm very curious as to how yours looks (and sounds...with that humbucker)!

As far as a tribute to Johnny, that was the idea of the mosrite shape. I honestly didn't know he had a one pickup job. It's something I have always thought about as I mainly only use one pick up and don't monkey with tone knobs too much. I've got simple tastes, but I like good quality. This fit the bill to a t.
