Rockabouly,

I'd like to hear more about this amp. You said your friend built it. Is it built from a kit, scratch built or rebuilt from a vintage Princeton amp? I've built a couple of projects and have considered building a PR. Any info and additional pics would be great.

BTW, I listened to your friends band and really liked their music. Those button pins with the letter 'B' and a crown on them wouldn't haven't any significance to BB King would it? ;)

That's great to breath new life into an old amp. Look's like he did a clean job on the electronics.

Your English is fine - much better than my French - so don't be embarassed about it. We'll get the message. ;)

OK, I see that he copied an original using it and the schematics to make your replica. No wonder it looks new. I love it. He did an outstanding job. Nice looking Gibson too.

Your English is just fine.

Wow that's really cool! So he basically restored a vintage amp and hand wired it then, nicely done! How does it sound compared to the originals? Are you using the original speaker or a replacement?

I have the reissue and I am VERY happy with it. I wish it had the power plug on the back like the original but I guess it isn't allowed anymore so they had to drop it. That darn little amp sounds amazing and is pretty versatile.

The sound is wonderful, sorry but better than the reissue  . But the reissue is really good, I like it.
After many test, he chose a Weber 10A125... and I trust him. :)
