Well, not a big fan of stadium concerts either when it comes to that pure musical experience - especially soundwise.
Regarding amp volume. I do think that overall most bands today play their amps at lower volumes in venues than before due to better PA and more strict sound regulations. Of course depending on venue and stage sizes.
