How much was it?

Thanks, Lars: Sorry, it's too late. The guitar is with my guitar tech guy now and the "Hoola girl" will be executed next week. :o She won't live to see this Christmas...

I got it at very good price (under $2000) :) I am extremely happy with the sound.. :D

Vincent,

If the hula girl on the guitar goes away, you should get your wife a grass skirt and lei to wear while you play guitar. It's only fair....

Congratulations again on the guitar!

I have no problem with a deal/sticker on a modern 'el cheapo' guitar but it is sacrilegious to have it on a vintage Mosrite.

Danny, I am with you. If Semie or his family members put the decal there, I'll keep it... Like this guitar Semie made for one of his grand children (as told on eBay). I do not own this guitar (I wish but I missed it on eBay)

Otherwise, I would keep my Mosrites as original as possible.

Mel: I would buy my wife a straw skirt right away but she said she would wear it only in Hawaii... So, I have decided to save the money and hope I can spend it on my next guitars.

I can not say that I care for that guitar you posted Vincent. That body looks like it's inflatable. Is that a bow up guitar?

Hey, kids love inflatable toys! If he likes it, he will play it. If he plays it, he will love it.. If he loves it, he may become a guitar player or guitar maker... :D

Anyway, this guitar has some historical value to me. Maybe one of our forum friends got it from that auction about a year ago.

Danny, the "inflatible" guitar is actually an M-88. This was the 'other' model besides the Ventures. This particular guitar did away with the German Carve. ;)
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

Vincent, the Dustin M88 is still available; I don't think it ever sold on eBay. It's been hanging on the wall of a shop in LA for a while now.

Thanks, Adam. So the eBay deal did not go through then. Or maybe this LA shop bought it for resales. Just curious, how much they are asking now?
