Hi 101 volts, No havent goten that far yet in my head, it makes too anxious to finish the job, and then I get slopey and the job turns out not so good, so I don't think about it you know what I mean? But now that you bring up the subject of color, Ilike a nice sunburst, but that depends on the grain of the wood and how it all blends together with the glue joints and all that. If it comes out so so, I'll just paint it. I'm not a painter, I'm ex mechanic grease and nuts and bolts that kind of stuf. Just had an idea :idea: I could send it to dubtrub in Cal. and have hin do it. HAHAHAHA :lol: Nice talking to ya see ya soon.

Hi ya oipunkguy, hows it going good I hope. Electronics, yes, going to go to Cali. to dubtrubs place and steal the mosrite pickups off his ha ha ha. :lol: No havent goten that far yet, kind of working on a small budget, and small income. We'll see what hapens dow the road Nice talking to ya take care.

Nice guitar...My next project will be a jaguar with a german carve ,but I need to finish the one I'm working on now first.
What kind of truss rod are you using?

Looks like it is coming along nicely!!!! I like the body carve. Just take your time and you will be rewarded with a very nice instrument and a great deal more knowledge about luthery.

HI Mosdan, yeah there's sure is a lot to know about building a guitar, gone through a bottle of asprin already, lots to think about, and digest. Like I told the guies before, never tried to make a guitar before, this nis sure an experiance, and I mean that in a good way. :D
