Ha, if Tim of Tym's guitars sees this he would probably suggest using "Dagwrong"rockaction5 wrote:mosman wrote: Proto Birdman guitar..........The name 'Dagrite' ..
I did it as the bridman as an hommage and can not name it "mos"rite so as my name is "Daguet" it came as "dagrite"... never thought it could be a dull name in australia !!!!maybe I'll have to improve this!?!

[edit] I realise you are quite an acomplished guitar designer/maker

For mosman:
Bill, just wondering how Auzzies treat the name "Dagwood" (of the American "Dagwood and Blondie" cartoon characters)

Unique and excellent those Dagrites; quite apart...like you might see it as a stylised Mo'...
Easy access to those top frets on the fingerboard must be absolutely to the max here, I reckon.

Hello Mosrite people!
after months of work under different sky, I'm back, with a new dag"rite", I'd like to get your opinion about her. I have remake totally my guitar site which is now fuller, with bigger pictures and almost one hundred sound samples ...
the new "dagrite" on he site is the "dagrite II", I need an idea for a different name as it seem to be a stupid name for australian ears...
thanks for visiting and your precious advices, I will start soon, for the fun of it (I know , I'm probably kind of masochist) a closer version of the venture 63 model with infinite respect to the authors of these great guitars.
I remind you the site adress : www.daguetguitars.com
have a nice day, spring will come soon!!!
Roger.

Here is some pretty cool pro-shot footage of one of Rogers guitars in action.
All white, three pickups. Wielded by Nicke Royale. Very cool guitars those Wilshire/Crestwoods.
Looking forward to see your future projects Roger!

I checked out your site, and I've gotta say the Crestwood like is fabulous! I especially like the Koa version...as an aside, does the "12 Cordes Speciale" come in a lefty? Our lead guitarist is looking for a British Invasion-looking lefty 12 string, and that one seems to scratch that itch. Beautiful work...
