Welcome Terry!
I spent a half an hour drooling over the photos on your site. Very cool work and even cooler history.
Are you using a CNC machine for your inlay work?

Re: Terry TNM Guitars
To be sure... This is the most "Subject" knowledgeable, guitar sight I've ever been a part of. To have the first hand knowledge of, not only the guitars, but the men who actually helped to conceive them, is rare indeed. I truly enjoy the stories and bits of trivia that you can only collectively acquire, here.
I second that gplayer!
You've summed it up very nicely!

Cheers everyone,
Paul

Re: Terry TNM Guitars
Thanks for the welcome guys.
My personal knowledge on the early Mosrite's stops quite suddenly after the summer of 1959. This is when Semie moved from his home/shop in Granada Hills to Bakersfield. When he left he said he was going on a gospel tour but fortunately opened a guitar factory instead. Anyone curious can see a recent picture of that house on my site in the News section. Actually it hasn't changed much at all.
If I can add a sensible comment on any question that pops up I'll chime in. After my experience with Semie I worked at Vox Guitars in Van Nuys for a couple of years as well from 66-68 in their so-called custom shop. I don't expect many questions about that.
Deke is just a wealth of information on Mosrite's and most all of the obscure luthier's from the west coast. You already have the Dekepedia on guitars.

Hey Mr. Bill,
No CNC machines in use at the TNM shop. I did consider it at one time but thought the value in my guitars is that they are handmade.

Well then, really nice work!
I'm glad to hear that you feel that way, there are so few true craftsmen out there anymore.

Terry,
Was there any hint of the Ventures model body style when Semie was in Granada Hills?
