looking for a switch tip for my Mosrite bass guitar

Postby mgunn » Wed Nov 08, 2017 3:22 am

I was wondering if anyone has an original Mosrite switch tip that they could sell me that would fit the pickup selector switch of my early 70's Mosrite of California bass guitar. A reproduction would be OK also. Thanks

Hi- I'm not sure if they are the same- I am hoping that they are the same but I am still trying to learn more about it. I have been told that there are some new Mosrite reproduction switches that fit the 60's Mosrites but that they might not sit flush with the base on my early 70's model since longer threads were used at that time but that I could remedy that by grinding off some of the shaft on the switch so it will set flush. Thanks a lot for replying. M Gunn

Awhile back I made some Chrome plated Brass switch knobs for the 6 string. I might have one left somewhere.
