I just bought #0162 so bumping the thread.
Not sure what the Japanese website linked earlier means about the 'experimental' paint, it's definitely my Bluesbender in the pic (identified by cigarette burn on the headstock) and it's just black paint, lots of pretty heavy checking in weird shapes.
I'll post some good pics when I get it set up and working but here's one for the time being (neck off as it was posted this way and I'm doing some fret work on it) - for some reason image embedding isn't working so just click it...

-- N0049 Black finish with heavy weather checking.
The gangster looks so frightening, with his luger in his hand
When he gets home to his children, he's a family man
But when it comes to the nitty-gritty, he can shove in his knife
Yes he really looks quite religious, he's been an outlaw all his life

This may be a total noob question, but where is the serial number on a Bluesbender typically? I don't see one on my headstock, body end of the fretboard, or jack plate.

I haven't pulled any plates off yet, the headstock says "mosrite of California USA by Semie Mosley"
