Just got a custom 60 from hallmark guitars fire burst sparkle. Absolutely beautiful guitar, everything was perfect. I have spent the last 20 years looking for a guitar with the lowest possible action. I have tried all the major labels Gibson, fender, PRS, evh, esp, dean, Jackson, etc. My custom 60 finally ends my search what an awesome guitar. Bob shade was awesome to work with and custom wound a ceramic magnet for me. Don't walk run to a hallmark.

I love the pic of the 60C in front of all those Marshall amps! That's awesome! It is nice to see the guitar is getting good use.

I would love to see a 60 Custom with Hallmark "Fat Pig" pickups video demo. Let me know, I will get supply the earplugs :)

Rockin regards from Hallmark

Yessiree! I'm using the heck out of it. I love it. :D

The "Fat Pig" has come out though for the time being. I really like it and it's a great pickup for my personal needs, but I got a new gig on guitar and I needed a little more versatility so I could use the 60C as my main guitar and show it off at gigs, so I put a SD P-Rails in it's place. I was reluctant to go that route because P-Rails are so ugly, but I heard a few and they sound really good to me. It ended up working out really well and looks like it belongs there after a few tweaks and modifications to make it fit. And of course I had to add a small toggle to cycle through the P-Rails modes. That's also why I ordered that extra pickguard from you. I wanna go back to the Fat Pig one day without having an extra hole in the pickguard. :D

But....I do want another 60C soon and the Fat Pig will definitely be in it!

I thought about a pickup design like that once.
I guess Mr. Duncan has patented it now. I am glad someone made it happen. Very nice!

I have a 59 Custom that I love. I replaced my Telecaster with this. Play it in my honky tonk band in Ventura, Ca. Big Tweed. bigtweed.com
It's perfect and versatile as I do a lot of Travis picking as well.

I'll have to see if there's a video out there of me playing the Hallmark. BTW..the double neck in the stand behind me, built by Mel of Von Bergmann Guitars, has four Hallmark "deke dickerson" pickups on it. They sound GREAT on that thing.

Not the best but here are some Bob
