Most of the guitar sounds and messing around with the amp during the intro is the RS played in it's bridge position through a reverb tank and a Carr Rambler. The amp is not miked up in those clips but just a mike in the room. Still it gives a pretty good impression how it sounds in that combo.

The track in the video, Twang's Am, was recorded before I got the RS guitar. The track was recorded with a Gretsch 6120jr2 and the vintage Fender Jazzmaster that you see in the video. In case anybody should care...;-).

I got a chance to get my mitts on the RS Model guitar as El Twang and his band El Ray were passing through town and were kind enough to come over for an informal jam before the show. No surprise, the guitar plays and sounds as great as it looks! Of course I didn't manage to get pictures, but Lars and the gang did so hopefully he'll post one or two when he gets back home.

You know we're taking orders for the RS model guitars, Silver like Lars or anyother cool surf colors
1 to a half dozon pickups ,tone chambered with and original molded mosrite "F" hole, you name it
we've got it.
