the body is basswood. many thanks to engen, kev, and specially bob shade on this project. without them I couldnt have completed this project. more pics to come :D

here's a piece of rosewood I picked up at stewmac. the worst part of this whole project is the smell of rosewood dust when sanding it. i strongly recomend using a mask. I plained down the profile to a 10 degree radius with my sanding block.
