Hi I am new here. Yesterday I bought a modern Mosrite on ebay. Below are the sellers photos of the guitar I bought. The seller said that these were made as a limited edition of 30 and The guitar I bought is # 15 of 30 . Actually,I remember when these first were released but I never thought I could afford one until yesterday.
One thing I don't understand:
I saw what appeared to be the same model guitar on Ed Roman's webpage and the number of that guitar is 597(Link) ...huh? #597? I don't get it? I thought this was a limited edition of 30 guitars including Johnny's personal copy? That is what Ed said a few years ago (Link) why does the one on his website #597?

Very pretty guitar! If it feels good, and sounds great it's lineage may not be of any real importance until you are selling...

The 597 on Roman's website may just be his own stock number and not have anything to do with the serial. Have a gigantic grain of salt nearby when perusing anything Roman-related.

Hmm.... I had #5 and #11 last year and now I don't have any. Too bad you weren't around then. Great sounding and playing guitars, both of them. I'm guessing this one is the same.

Yeah, I let them both go about a year ago.
