Oh yes, it's 100% original ;-). Until last year I actually used to ride a bike from 1944. I'm not kidding.

No problemo! My girlfriend transports her doublebass and amp in one of these.

Ok, back to the cars!

Yeah, those stainless 60s show up in a number of T-bird books. Here's the pic for anyone who doesn't want to follow the link. Interesting to note that Allegheny Steel worked with Ford on three different stainless models, the 1936 Ford, the 1960 T-bird and the 1967 Continental. In all cases the stainless cars were among the last to come off the line since the stainless steel was much stiffer than the usually rolled steel and thrashed the panel dies!

Well, my 'pride and joy' TT got hit in the parking lot of Publix the other nite as I was picking up some milk and I didn't notice the 3 foot dent and big gash until the next morning when I let the dog out. State Farm is covering it, but I find it amazing that there is somebody out there who knows what they did, and left anyways .
All I can do is wish them a "Good Day" with hopes of them having Transmission Failure around 4:30 PM during Rush Hour..........

Brutus has excellent taste in cars! I own 2 corvairs, a 1965 turbocharged(yes, it's original) Corsa and, a 1967 Yenko Stinger # YS113, got it from original owner about 16 years ago. It is completely apart in my garage now. Someday. BTW Brutus, I live in Bolingbrook, let me know next time you're playing, I'll try and make it.

Thanks, I do love that car. The truth be told I moved out to Westmont recently so we are like 15 mins from each other. Corvairs and Mosrite just seem to belong together,
like some kindred spirits of 60's uniqueness. We will have to go to a cruise night this summer.
