today I finished the electrics, filed the bridge , put strings on etc.

Unfortunately the decal is sitting a tad too low

I polished the knobs because they wont take the nickelplatting, it is a special process and I don,t know how to do that yet.


It Sounds great!! (on my peavy DB guitamp) and has a Looww action. I hope Saf is as happy as I am.

That's looks really great, Eugen.
Now are you going to build one for yourself? Also, what is the finished weight? My '72 weighs in at a hefty 10.4 lbs and the one I built using Alder for the body weighed 8.2 lbs.

I want to build one for myself to probably a 6string first.  The Longhorn will be the family bass. (and probably I make a Mobass too)
