Hello all! Name's Strat-Daddy aka Phill.
I've always loved Mosrite guitars and considered them the number 1 "surf guitar", although I have never been able to afford one. I have to resign myself to use the number 2 "surf guitar" - a Fender Stratocaster. My favorite guitar of the seven that I own right now, is one that I built using a '62 Strat body and a '94 Strat neck with vintage hardware.
Danny got me re-interested in Mosrites some time ago when he sent me some pictures of a couple of his projects. I was eat-up with envy!
Great site, Danny! thanks for the invite!

Hey Phill,
Glad to see you here. You'd be surprised at how many on this Mosrite forum have a Stratocaster as their number one guitar.

Re: Hello from Strat-Daddy
Welcome back, Phil.
Man, have you got a lot of catching up to do. As you probably already know, I too gave up on the CAS sport. Music and guitars is so much more relaxing and the people hear on the forum are a great bunch to hang out with. A lot of old timers here too. It's not all Mosrite all the time either. Check out our Other Instrument section.

Hi Phill , yep strat here too , a '76 skunk stripe hard tail from Fullerton ... I've only ever owned two guitars with a vibrato unit , an old Hofner solid with a Bigsby on it, and guess what the other is .
Welcome to the forum ( or is it welcome back?) .. sorry to hear about the burn-out mate! We've all been there I would reckon.
