A lost opportunity, perhaps. To keep harmony in the home I may have to "prioritize" the collection. Wanted to document this one in case it finds another home.

I'll be traveling this week, but I promise pictures of the re-assembled '73 Celebrity next weekend.

Maybe someone can share the reason why Semi used only 3 screws for the neck...and when he started this...sweet guitar by the way.

I probably should have said more about the guitar. I think it's a late '66/early '67, but can't remember exactly. I'll check my notes for the pot codes in a few days. And thanks for the compliment!

I like it. How does the neck pickup sound compared to a Mark I?

Looks like a guitar that hasn't seen much action or somebody took great care of it. Cool catch, handbrake.

I recall it's a late 66 or early 67. I don't have my notes or the pots with me at the moment. The serial number reads B1598. This two-owner instrument (that's including me) was literally under a bed for forty years, according to the original buyer. Pots have been switched out because the originals were frozen up. Have all the parts, including what I'm told are the original strings.

Does the Mark V also have the speed frets? Just curious.
