Postby pedrocarbona » Mon Sep 07, 2020 1:36 pm

Good afternoon all! Im looking for a Mosrite like guitar...Big Ramones fan and Im a drummer...so, I dont want to spend too much at the moment.
Saw a few Eastwood Mark IV Kurt Cobain's Tribute for Usd 395.00 on Reverb.
Any thoughts on this model?

Don't waste your money. I had one and it was a cheap POS.

You're better off putting that money towards the Hallmark Gospel. Far superior in every way.

I have a 1966 Mosrite Mark V which is similar to a Mosrite Gospel and I tried a Hallmark Gospel at a guitar show last year. The Hallmark Gospel was being sold used. I didn't plug in but I did play it unplugged and can say it was nice. It was heavier and more solid feeling than my Mark V. No i don't mean better just felt heavier and felt more solid. I wish I plugged it in. If I didn't have a Mark V I would have probably plugged in and bought it if it sounded good.

Congratulations on a great choice! I've had my Hallmark Johnny Ramone for about 5 years now and have loved it ever since. You'll find that in addition to being great for playing Ramones (my personal favourite) and similar music, it really is a very versatile instrument that will inspire you in ways you wouldn't have thought. Enjoy!

Well? Did your Hallmark arrive and what do you think about it?
