Postby mosman » Sat Feb 03, 2018 12:57 pm

I just scored a Mosrite Ranger which I'm very happy with but when I got it home and was cleaning it up I noticed that the roller bridge isn't quite right. It has the posts but no rollers. The posts are one solid piece with a wedge like you'd find on a Gibson style bridge. Also the string notches aren't cut in the centre but off to one side which makes some of the strings vibrate against the posts and sound very dead. It sounds okay amped but not so much acoustically. If I can't fix it I'll get a new bridge I guess, but all in all it's a great guitar and heaps of fun to pla
