Realistic sounding Japan models?

I know there are lots of Mosrite copies, many that look really good, but what about sound? Are there any particular copies (US, Japan, or other) that have nailed the sound of the M1?

Dana Moseley's Mosrites...because they are Mosrites. Hallmarks are the best deal and sound exactly like Mosrites if you install Dana's pickups.
