I would not mind having this 'parked' next to my '69 Dan Armstrong Ampeg.... 
AWESOME!!
My DA Plexi reissue and my Greco Plexi copy would love to have that for company!

Interesting! There have been a bunch of Fenders done like that but I don't recall any Mosrites. I've seen them with clear necks as well.

Yeah it is a pretty sweet guitar. I think Mike Marks has one of those in his collection.

Nice - did Mosrite make these or is it an MIJ or something else? I've never seen one before.

I have a Japanese Mosrite catalogue with one of these pictured on the cover so my guess would be they're a Japanese model.

That's a Japanese Re-Issue, mine is a 1969 from New Jersey. The DEAD GIV-A-WAY on the one
pictured here, is how light the so-called Formica Pickguard is. The Original was a lot darker:
