Fillmore releases the shark fun Ramones Model

Postby oipunkguy » Wed Sep 17, 2014 5:26 pm

I haven't been on here in a while, so I figured the forum would have caught this by now, but so far I haven't seen anything written about it yet. This is suppose to be for the 40th anniversary of the ramones. Looks like they did a great job on the reissue from the pics, but it's a bit pricey in my opinion. Still super cool.

Well Aaron,
I figured it was only a matter of time before someone started making this model again. I believe this was
possibly Johnny's last model made for him by "Uncle Semie", but in the late 80's to early 90's........ ;) .
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

Howdy Everyone,

If I built a batch of these shark fined guitars just like the one Semie
built for Johnny, "The E.F.Elliott JR Custom", some where around $2999.00
with a case, Do think anyone would be interested??

Just Wondering.

I'm sure you'd do a masterful job, but 3 grand is pretty steep.

agreed. the nice this about this guitar is its so stripped down and simple. that makes cost of building one cheap. i'd like to make more for myself. someday when i find the time. :)
