It is also interesting that Kurokumo (Dark Cloud or Black Cloud) is quickly starting to offer this Mosrite guitars directly from their factory. Check this one out....

Order directly from factory at 95,000 Yan. A little over $1000 plus shipping is not a bad price. I always like Kurokumo's quality.

Has anyone bought any of these mosrites or parts from kurokumo? I've gone to this web site and cannot load the translation software on the computer, and I can't find anywhere to order from them. suggestions anyone?

I didn't have any luck trying to download the language transition either,
but MAN!! Those Guitars look DEAD ON!!!

Just one note, these are not exactly "new." The website, maybe, but not the guitars. They've been making them for ages and are widely available in Japan, although they've always had to operate slightly under-the-radar for obvious reasons. Anyway, knock yourselves out (and learn Japanese already!):

I've already learned 2 Japanese Words.....
Toyota (the Wife's Car) and Mitsubishi (My Cars)
and they work very nicely I might add.....

I emailed kurokumo to see if they'll sell parts to the USA. I also told them about the forum. I'll report any response I get.

These guitars are for limited quantity and might have used the old "Excellent" parts (you may not get exactly what they described). The price is great if you can get it! (the case is not included, price is ex factory so shipping is extra) I think Kurokumo will probably try to fill their domestic orders first.

The biggest problem is to get them responded to your inquires. I heard a few forum friends here have tried to contact them but no responds at all.

thanks for the insight guys, if anyone else have ordered any mosrites, please let me know. as for learning japanese, I'd be hard pressed. I barely handle english good... I mean well.
