you have that option. I'm in the UK so also have a pond between us but this was the cheapest and quickest option. I'm in London, they don't know what Mosrites are over here and would probably assume the Vibramute is supposed to work that way.

I initially wanted a new Vibramute but Bob offered to fix this one so I don't need to drill new holes and line everything up. It was $50 and it took 7 days for him to fix it and have it back with me! I really don't think I could find someone locally who would do it for that much, they would charge more, closer to 50 pounds.

My advice is to contact Bob and let him know the issues and he'll know to fix it. Bob has been so helpful with advice ever since I got this thing that I almost feel guilty asking for more info :)

I'll post some pics of the Vibramute later but he drilled it so he could put the correct bearings on it and it needed a new bar as well. Also got a spring for lighter strings and a vintage bridge
