Finished the rework of the MIJ Mosrite gotten from eBay! Pix from start to finish http://s482.photobucket.com/albums/rr185/denncarr51/Refinishing%20MIJ%20Mosrite/ - forgive the fact that I was so excited to get finished I failed to polish out all my handprints ... still have some set up to do, but I'm glad it's basically done.

Poor ebay strategy.
Any bid placed on an ebay item which you do not make in the final 30 seconds of the auction is a bid you make against yourself.
Can't bid at the time of the auction's close? Use esnipe.

In addition to eBay, search google on "craigslist mosrite" and you'll get a nationwide list of craigslist adds for mosrites. There's a 67 bass and a 69 Model 600 amp out there now. Not as secure as buying through eBay but you might find a gem.

Thanks for the tips and hints. As far as eBay - I do try to bid within the last minute or 45 seconds ... been locked out trying to get in later than that. I search the vintage sites, and now I'll add Craigslist to that search. Keep plugging away.
