Hi again, thanks for the welcome in the initial forum, here are the pics of my new guitar.
I have stated it as a Mark IV, but was sold it as a Ranger, I am pretty sure I am right
but any info you guys can lend would be appreciated.
Rich.

What a beaut Rich! I think if it were a Ranger, it would have to say "Ranger" on the headstock (I think).

"Of Classics" is by the same Japanese Fillmore company too  http://www.mosrite.co.jp/mk1_ranger1965dx_jpn.html

The serial number D 043, is there any knowledge on the Japanese serials in which I can put a possible production year on the model.
Cheers

I found one of these yesterday!

I'm not a big fan of single coils or trems (I like how they look, but not for what I play).
I always thought about looking for a Mosrite with humbuckers or finding something cheap and putting them in.
I prefer the deeper figured top guitars, but i saw this and it spoke to me.

I'd probably swap the pups and stuff.
How does the neck compare to some other guitars?

Also, maybe we both found these in the same place, cos the one I've seen is also being sold as a ranger, but I'm sure it is a Mark IV. I want to pay the right price and not get conned. so for my own sake I'd like know more, and I have to add, this guitar looks sweet, even if it's not the classic example of mosrite.
