Aria VM65

Postby goldentrem » Sun Jun 29, 2008 6:27 pm

Has anyone had a play of one of these??
The strat style trem is ugly but if their nice guitars it could be tinkered to look better.
Its different to a few other Aria Mosrite clones i've seen.

Goldentrem,
Yeah, this Model I believe was just a basic Ventures Model. However, in this SAME SECTION,
under MOSRITE CLONES, if you go down 10 Threads, you'll see titled "Aria Ventures Model,"
that Thread will show you the Deluxe Version with the supposedly "Improved Trem System." ;)
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

I have one of these VM65 which was made in Korea. This is one of the least expensive Mosrite clones I have. The main reason I got it was Don Wilson's autographs on the guitar and the case. It is not a bad guitar and it does the job well, just no comparison to my other Japanese clones. But it only costs 1/4-1/3, considering the low cast, it is a great value.

I don't like the trem either. It looks cheap and is way too tight (got 5 springs on it, I probably should have taken 1-2 off)

Here are some reviews on line.
