The sunburst Combo is listed at, at this particular time, in US Dollars, $3,206.42. There is a line drawn thru the price and bold capital letters, ASK. Sounds like they are ready to negotiate. I wonder what kind of discounts one could get.

Don't get your hopes up. For the most part, Japanese guitar shops don't negotiate as a rule. There is always a set price (whether it's listed or not). Of course shops may choose to put things on sale or adjust the prices of older stock, but most don't respond well to haggling.

Mosrite fever is definitely on the rise now.... :?

WOW, ...nice pics to drool over! CONGRATS Rynaro, what a SUPER COOL pearl white Mo' you have there! How does the Mosrite neck fit you? Here in Holland I have that disadvantage of not being able to try one out and I'm always kinda afraid of buying a Mosrite without knowning about it's playability (neck-wise)...for little ol' me...I've never had the opportunity of holding a Mosrite, let alone play one :( BTW, talking of "loud colours"...what d'ya think guys of that "poison-green" model hangin' on the wall there...

No 'neck problem' with the Hallmark 60 Custom I have though ;)

Thanks for sharing and have a safe journey home
Paul

...copies even made in the tradition perhaps of "the Moseley method" ...(i.e. "use what we have") ;)

I remember last year when I ordered my red Ex 65, the distributor also had a pearl white in stock. I'm wondering now if they still do.

Everything in the music liner store was discounted from retail price about 20,000Y-50,000Y and a few other guitars marked even lower. but to bargain with them i think a good knowledge of japanese is needed, because they understood nothing i said.

I'll tell you this much, with new Combo Models going for that price, there's a bunch of
Original Combo Owners (me included) that just got 'real happy' in the past few hours  .
