90s Chandler Avenger

Postby GattonFan » Fri May 22, 2009 8:33 am

Anyone ever had any experience with one of these - I was looking through an old Guitar Player mag from 1990, and saw one advertised. Looks like a great Mosrite-influenced guitar. Love to find one.

The one I've seen did have the lipsticks - I'll have to go back and look at the ad for the originals to see. Those were some great-looking knock offs - wish they still made them.

The one I recall had the 3 Lipsticks, but I can't recall what kind of Trem System (Strat Type?) was on it :? .

Yep - Gonna have to keep an eye out for one of these. IF they're not too over-priced.

I had one of those but sold it about five years ago. Mine was black with humbuckers ( made to my requirements) and I have to say while it sounded great I didn't like it's small body and thick neck. It was a case of trying to put up with it's shortcomings but I couldn't, so I parted ways with it.I should have a photo somewhere so I'll try to find it and post it.

Mosman - about how much did you let it go for, if you remember? The first ones had single-coil strat type pups, from what I can see in the ad. Other than that, I don't guess I've ever seen one.
