WOW! I just got a look at the Fillmore catalog on the Front Porch website. They're doing a 12-string! I've always wanted a Mosrite 12-string! What puts me off is--how narrow are those necks? If they're like the '60's 6-strings, I'd have a really hard time playing one--I find Rickenbackers to be too narrow as well. I remember seeing the Mosrite Mark XII in their catalog back then and thinking that having a tremolo on a 12 would be cool, and then I bought a Vox Phantom XII and changed my mind--does anybody know if those Mosrite 12's stay in tune with the tremolo, or is it an idea that's better in theory than in practice? I couldn't get that Vox to get in tune, much less stay there!

The 12 string necks are wider than the 6 string necks. The bridge has the roller saddles to help keep it in tune, but most 12 strings are a little off unless they have 12 intonatible saddels.Sounds good if it's a little off anyway!

Wow indeed Jfine, I wonder if the 12 string vibratos work better though? Oh and check out the Danamite Wave, Dangrous looking thang but cool.

That model is a clone of one that Semie made and had shown at the NAMM Show back in 1984.

Dana had been carrying that body around with her for years. It was supposed to be her guitar, but dad passed, and it never got finished.Fillmore found out about it and finished it up,in the blue color. The red one is a hand carved prototype. They will also feature optional LED side markers, that change color or stay one color (or off) ! Mosrite into the future!
Also, all items in the catalogue are avalible from Front Porch.
