If you call him in advance and let him know your time of arrival he just may give you the 'E' ticket tour. ;)

I'm always happy to give a tour!
I got a few more original models since Mel was here.Sold a candy apple red '63 side jack 003 today, but will have '63 004 (also car) in for sale. Also got in a candy blue '64 and sunburst '65.
I can get other colors, including sparkles, for those who really like that kind of flash!

It's just like mine, and I love it!

dubtrub wrote:If any one owns a Ranger and they don't care for it, it would be my guess that it just isn't set up properly.

I agree.

If there is anyone who doesn't like the Ranger and doesn't bother to do the setup, please contact me - I might be interested in getting another one :D
This concludes my report from outer space. Now, back to studio!

Wow!! That's a nice looking guitar. Red Mosrites must be my favorite.

Nice t-shirt too ;-). I've been out of the loop here for a while now, I realise.

I friggin love it. I have a Ranger & as far as playability, its my favorite guitar on my wall. I have an SG standard, a Fillmore Mosrite & a real deal holyfield Mosrite V88.

Does that one in his hand have the regular knobs or are they the top hat ones with the M on them? I had to buy some off of Ebay & replace them for my Mosrite. IMHO, they should come with them. But if that is my only beef & it was corrected w/ $18.00 (six after I sold the knobs I replaced on Ebay) then so be it.

I'd trade my Martin D16 for a good lookin' Celebrity if anyone has one just laying around.
In order of purchase:
1) Mosrite Ranger
2) V88
3) Stereo 350
4) Hallmark II in Johnny Blue
5) Danelectro '66
6) Celebrity III
7) Hallmark Gospel
8) Serenade
9) Eastwood 300

Fillmore doesn't use the M knobs. If you bought Japanese M knobs off eBay they are Kurokumo.

The ones on the guitar Artie is holding are the Jewel Knobs (lathed), predecessor to the 'M' Knobs ;) .
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.
