Since Strat-o-rama resurrected GattonFan's post, I want to make it clear that this isn't really true. Mosrites are on every corner because of the cultural impact the Ventures had some 45 years ago, but not every kid in Japan wants a Mosrite. The market is driven by the baby boomers, many of whom retired in the past few years and have money to spend.
