Will the Hallmark bridge work as a replacement on the Japanese clones? Or, are the Rangers, Excellents,etc., metric?

I'm pretty sure that the Hallmark bridge is a universal replacement for Mosrite vintage or Japanese.

That's a great solution but wouldn't it be better if they just put in the effort to make them right in the first place?

Marty, the trick is to support the barrel by installing a tiny piece of material underneath it. That way it won't rock in any direction which is why your rubberband solution also may work.
