Lynn and I made the trek to Front Porch today and had the pleasure of running into Mario and Franco (they'll be fine). I'll let Mario or Franco tell the rest of the -story when they get back. -Marty
Here's a photo - Mario on the left, me, Franco and Artie (the owner of Front Porch)

Great picture! So you guys know, the redheaded non-photogenic one holding the gold Mark II is me, Franco. The guy on the left is my dad, Mario. He made the trip (and buying a great Mosrite guitar) possible. The '63 sunburst will be mine as soon as I finish paying for it, haha.
Went to Ed Roman the second day and we were showed around by Scott, it was a totally cool experience and they didn't ask for a deposit or anything. The Mosrite guitars he had were being shipped to him from Dana Moseley in Bakersfield. I got to play the Johnny Ramone forever guitar (which is $5000!!)...it was unreal, just about perfect. If I am ever rich, I will own it.
The best part of our trip was definitely going to Front Porch in Bakersfield. Meeting Marty, Lynn and Artie and seeing all the vintage Mosrites and Mark II's was just great. Marty plays an awesome version of Pipeline. Seeing the Award Amp with the Ventures logo in person was also sweet. Great time.
I will for sure post some more detailed pictures of the new Mosrite when it gets here.

It was great meeting and talking with you and your old man, Franco! I'm so glad that both our trips to Front Porch coincided. You left out one cool detail about that '63 Mosrite you guys procured and that is that it is serial number 0001 !! Yes, do send more pics when you get it. -Marty

That's #0001?!? I thought that stunning sunburst looked familiar. I played #0001 at Front Porch a few years ago. It had that magic feel and sound - real presence.

Congratulations on a great guitar!

It was awesome to meet you guys too. Mosrite people (and guitars) are the best, this I know.

Finally got around to getting some pics! The 63 plays so smooth and I love the way it sounds. Thanks again to Marty and Lynn for meeting us there, that was totally awesome. And thanks to Artie for a beautiful guitar and remembering the extra knob! My other Mosrite finally looks complete. Here they are:

Great looking Guitars..... I was at the Front Porch a few weeks ago. Artie was so great to talk too very nice with tons on information..

My wife was born and raised in Bakersfield and her family knew everyone back in the day...Kinda cool ..

Artie has great Guitars and a very cool car.
