Sorry Dennis, I thought I posted the outcome. Anywho, I received my replacement guitar & all is well. I love the guitar. I had to replace the strings, other than that it is awesome. I was treated well by those guys so nuthin' but props to them.

I'm thinking about posting something about the comparisons between the V88 & the Ranger. There are quite alot of differences, but alot of similarities as well.
In order of purchase:
1) Mosrite Ranger
2) V88
3) Stereo 350
4) Hallmark II in Johnny Blue
5) Danelectro '66
6) Celebrity III
7) Hallmark Gospel
8) Serenade
9) Eastwood 300
