Ugh! Dennis,

The internet isn't free. It's costing me a yearly fee to have a domain and to host this forum. Nothing in life is free except to those participating here.

Maybe I should of rephrased that. I was referring to the amount of exposure on the Internet as compared to having to advertise in the
Different Guitar Magazines, Local Newspapers, National Newspapers, or Radio Advertising on a monthly basis, I know it's not free.
Sorry for the confusion  .

Thanks for the update Strat-o-rama. I think Artie might do a better job at representing the line better than Ed Roman. Maybe more honestly.

and maybe without price gauging the consumer....

you guys know if mosrites, japanese or american were in every guitar center, they would be selling.

I'm still waiting on a joe maphis doubleneck.... :D :D :D :D

Looks like our friend Ed is still in the picture (as of January 2009)...

I've always wondered why most guitar shops here in Sydney will stock endles amounts of the usual brands and even get in a few less than impressive not-so-big name guitars (which usually hang on the wall for ages) but none of them have the nerve to add a Mosrite to their stock. I've been bugging them all for years now and they still won't take a chance.
I dunno ... I can't work 'em out.

I personally think it is because Mosrites are the most under rated electric guitars in history. the first mosrite I ever got to play was a red '66 mark V, and I was blown away to actually be playing a mosrite, but it was kinda tiny on me, since I'm 6'2. but the next mosrite I got my hands on was a V88. and I could not believe how good this instrument played and felt. it's was nothing like I ever experienced before.
you really don't know the magic of a mosrite until you get to play a ventures one in my opinion. once in a while I'll bring in my mosrite to a guitar center or something to try out a new amp, and you wouldn't believe how many people will just come up and check the guitar out. I've even had people offer me cash for it on the spot. that's why I know mosrites would sell.

Actually that would be a great way to sell a guitar. That way you wouldn't have to fork over all those ebay and Paypal fees.
