The GPC that I played a few years ago was pretty nice and it had a wide neck and great pickups.

as i recall, a bunch of years ago guitarpunk was selling japanese mosrites. weren't they? then they started their own line.

or have they always just done copies?

I remember years ago seeing a Yamaha SG3 on the Guitar Punk site which had a Mosrite decal on the headstock and the caption 'Bold new design from Mosrite.'
If anyone fell for that I pity 'em.

Yes they did sell the Japanese Mosrites as well as Soldono amps and a bunch of other cool stuff.
