"New" Mosrite Combo

Hey guys,
I see a "New Mosrite Combo" on ebay...Mosrite of Classics on the headstock. What is this? Did Japan have some leftover bodies from another guitar they slapped on a Mosrite style neck and made a new model?

I saw that too! Not exactly the Mosrite Combo I know and love. I can't say I'm too much of fan of that one. Strange.
