P.S.- Emailed Wilson Bros. sales representative Wednesday morning at 5:55 a.m. regarding info. on the VM USA Custom. No reply as of yet. I'd pass at $3,500 anyway. I'd rather buy a Vintage Mosrite or 3 Hallmarks.

Yes, though I did say retail. That could mean the street price is more like 2000, I don't know fer sure. It probably depends on just how much the guitar is a production model vs. hand made to order. I realize 2k is still not that attractive for a lot of folks here who see the excellent Hallmarks for under a G. It'll be interesting to hear the straight dope from the sales rep. -Marty

3500 clams is the retail - so I've heard - on the blue one built in Seattle. Thanks for the report, Mel!
